London – August 16th, 2019: WTA is pleased to announce the acquisition of Warwick International Computing Systems by its client Partners Group-backed Civica UK Limited.
Civica Group strengthens its position in local public services with addition of specialist SaaS business.
Civica, an international leader in software for public services, has announced that Civica UK Limited, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, has acquired specialist occupational health, and health & safety software provider Warwick International Computing Systems Limited.
Derby-based Warwick International provides specialist cloud software with a broad presence complementary to the Civica Group’s established activities and growth strategy in shared markets. It has promoted and supported a healthier workforce for 29 years to provide occupational health and health & safety software, to a range of sectors. The business’ Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supports organisations in their responsibility to keep employees’ safety and wellbeing top of their business agenda.
Using powerful analytical tools to transform data into knowledge, Warwick International allows organisations to act with trust and accuracy, enabling critical occupational health and health & safety services to be delivered effectively and efficiently.
Warwick International will join the Health and Care division within Civica, building on Civica’s market-leading cloud portfolio for existing and shared markets.
The acquisition adds new capability to the business in occupational health and health & safety, particularly to the health sector where more than 40 NHS trusts use Warwick International’s software, including University Hospital Southampton, NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The company’s cloud software supports 200 customers worldwide, including the Metropolitan Police along with North Yorkshire County Council, University of Birmingham, John Lewis Partnership, Sky and Skanska.
