Today we announce the latest addition to our team of highly experienced technology sector professionals. Ian Jones, who has spent over forty years in the managed services sector, brings a strong reputation for strategic growth and operational delivery to WTA’s already formidable transaction team.
Throughout his career, Ian has been directly involved in more than 25 acquisitions, covering the full M&A lifecycle, from due diligence and negotiation through to integration and post-deal optimisation. His extensive experience in managing large-scale service delivery operations makes him particularly effective in complex M&A environments.
Ian’s track record includes leading the divestment of Right Digital Solutions from Capita PLC, as well as being instrumental in both a management buyout (MBO) and a trade sale, demonstrating his deep expertise in transaction management and value creation. Known for his hands-on, straight-talking leadership style, he combines strategic insight with operational depth.
