LONDON, 5th November 2024: WTA Partners (“WTA”) is proud to announce the sale of their client, public sector data management specialists, Infoshare (infoshare-is.com) to private equity firm, Omni Partners (“Omni”) (omni.co.uk). The mandate was performed by Jeffrey Jenner and Alan Butterworth, both partners in the firm.

Founded in 1996, Infoshare is a specialist in data quality, master data management, and data governance. They have established a strong reputation for supporting public sector organisations to create a ‘golden record’, by cleaning and matching large volumes of data from multiple sources to provide an accurate single view of customers’ data. Infoshare’s client base has included high profile organisations including central Government departments, the Metropolitan Police Force, Royal Mail and many local authorities.

The deal is part of Omni’s platform build strategy and initially with Infoshare and two key assets from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance (CIPFA), delivering enhanced solutions and services to the public sector.

Pamela Cook, CEO of Infoshare, commented on WTA’s advisory services:

“I was very fortunate to be working alongside WTA during this transaction. From the beginning, I felt in safe and competent hands as I navigated fresh territory. The WTA team acted as the perfect glue to hold it all together during a speedy, efficient, exciting transaction and they impressed me with their knowledge, approach and sensitivities. WTA were alongside me every step and for that, I thank them.”

Wayne Story, Partner at Omni, noted:

“Omni is dedicated to advancing the evolving needs of the public sector and building a platform of trusted software solution providers. In this first step, we’re excited to work alongside Infoshare’s data experts and invest in CIPFA’s high-quality software solutions, bringing increased efficiency and innovation to our public sector clients and adding value to all of their stakeholders.”

WTA Partner, Alan Butterworth, commented:

“We are delighted that we were able to meet and exceed the expectations of Pamela and the Infoshare team to deliver a fantastic result for all involved. We are now continuing to further build our relationship with Omni, supporting their build strategy as they seek to grow and strengthen their capabilities in the public sector software market.”

WTA Partner, Jeffrey Jenner, added:

“It was a pleasure to work with Pamela and her team from the inception of this project. As well as achieving a great outcome for the shareholders, we are also pleased to have completed another public sector transaction, one WTA’s key specialisms.”
